ReGrained Puffs are powered by SuperGrain+Ⓡ, the company’s flagship ingredient created using their patented process to transform brewers’ “spent” grain into a versatile and functional flour-like powder. The new line of puffed chips boast boosted nutrition, flavor, and purpose over the competition as the only better-for-the-planet brand in an exploding category of better-for-you salty snacks. By deploying “twin-screw extrusion,” a blend of ReGrained SuperGrain+Ⓡ and Non-GMO Organic corn is expanded (“puffed”) and dried, not fried.
ReGrained is launching with 5 bold flavors: Mexican Street Corn, Texas Pit BBQ, Aged Sharp Cheddar, Smoked Sea Salt and Cracked Pepper, and Urban Garden, a take on a vegetable and herb flavor.
At Natural Products Expo West last year, the company democratized their development process of this innovation by creating a live tasting panel on the show floor. This year, the product will launch with optimized flavor profiles, form factor, and positioning.
